The Best is Yet to Come and, Babe, Won't It Be Fine!

Tony Bennett please serenade us one more again'....
"The best is yet to come and, babe, won't it be fine?
The best is yet to come, come the day you're mine

Come the day you're mine, I'm gonna teach you to fly
We're gonna taste of the wine
We're gonna drain the cup dry

Wait till your charms are right for these arms to surround
You think you've flown before but you ain't left the ground..."

NYC SOCIALITES WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! Ok, now that we got it out of our system shall we talk updates! We recently hosted our first dance party 'Zodiac' at Sapphire's where our socialites made us sooooo proud. Did we clean the floor or what! Ok, let us paint a picture...rock with us por favor as we recreate the night. The night was like the infamous Dirty Dancing "Do You Love Me?" dance scene. You know the one you watched as a kid and you were told to close your eyes but instead of being obedient your curiosity itched you to keep your fingers a bit more wide open than they needed to be so that you could watch Baby enter a world of dance lovers caressing, gyrating and fondling each other? You remember don't you? Ok, here is the video in case you really did close your eyes (you have some rebelling to do) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x43vK0k6A2I. Our socialites recreated the scene on April 24th. The dance fever peaked to the sounds of Gaga, Bieber, Gyptian, Rihanna and M. Jackson. It was amazing, our CEO was among the many who let their hair down and danced all night. When we don't spoil our socialites with complimentary swag bags at our events we lower the cover and give out wrist bands or some sort of token. This night was no different, we charged only $5 and gave out neon strobe light bracelets. The place was packed and the Dj was amazing showering our crowd with their requests and shout outs. SAPPHIRE'S is AWESOME! We have had wonderful experiences with NYC venues and Sapphire's was no different. Among their arrival our socialites received the most hassle-free entrance, welcomed in all styles and attires. "UNPRETENTIOUS" is our middle name! Our socialites make it easy for us, they are already so stylish.

Here are some pics, all in all, the second wave of dance fever will be coming very soon so stay tuned (please, thank you, we love you)..... NOW ON TO THE NEXT UPDATE!

Pssst Psssssssssssst, WE HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU (looking around to make sure no one is eavesdropping...ok all clear but come closer just in case). We our planning two huge events this summer! A Pop N Rock themed prom on July 16th at Delancey Lounge (OMG OMG OMG) and  A Poppin' Hip Hop event on August 21st at Houndstooth Lounge.

For our Pop N Rock themed prom we have three wonderful DOPETASTIC bands set to perform:

THE HOTCAKES (http://www.myspace.com/thehotcakesmusic) we fell in love with the band during their high intensity performance at Arelene's Grocery. Not only did they pack the house but I think everyone left there in need of cough drops from all of the screaming, singing and dancing.

PILLOW THEORY (http://www.myspace.com/pillowtheory) these gents need no introduction and they made our venue negotiations much easier. A tip we learned during venue negotiations in NYC is that one, venues are particular about private event planning companies using their space and two, they are even MORE particular about the kinds of bands set to perform. However, when ever we mentioned Pillow Theory we experienced the infamous Ali Baba 'open sesame' effect. Also, we hosted a photo shoot for these guys and fell in love. In person they are everything and more! Sweet, down to earth and funny!

OVEOUS MAXIMUS (http://www.myspace.com/oveous) The ever-so-talented and handsome poet and musician. We fell in love with Oveous when he performed "Salcedo's Breakdown" on HBO's Def Poetry Jam. His vibrant spirit, hyponotic lyrical style and voice captivated the heart of our CEO. She soon after went to check out his performance at South Paw in Brooklyn, NY with Turnstylz. His energy packed the house and his talent and charisma moved the crowd.

Swag bags, performances, glitz, glam and everything pop and rock will be in full swing on July 16th at the Delancey lounge. We hope you save the date!

MORE DETAILS TO COME ON OUR AUGUST HIP HOP EVENT! IT WILL BE HUGE, GIGANTIC, & EXTRAORDINARY.....
